The representatives of six leading Tajik dried fruit and nuts processing companies visited this exhibition thanks to the GIZ Project “Towards Rural Inclusive Growth and Economic Resilience IRDP/TRIGGER”. Among them, ORO Isfara LLC, Toboni Isfara LLC, Mevai Tilloi LLC, Badr LLC, Ecofruit Isfara LLC, Visol LLC and 2 representatives of IAPEAT staff participated in the International Food Products and Processing Technologies Exhibition – WorldFood Istanbul.
The main objective of the visit was to explore export opportunities for Tajik products manufactured by Processing companies of dried fruit and nuts – members of the International Association of Producers and Exporters of Agriproducts of Tajikistan (IAPEAT), as well as to meet potential customers and start building relationships. Participants also learned about new trends and innovations in the food industry. Participation on this exhibition was very useful and important to our companies. They found great connections here, established contacts with potential partners. During the exhibition, were also held business meetings between exhibitors and our companies, which were interested in our products. Below are some of their meetings.
The representative of Toboni Isfara LLC Ubaidulloev Dodokhon held a B2B meeting with the representative of Elnas Nuts company, Mr. Ahmet Bayir. Elnas is a company established with 40 years of experience and passion of a well-established family company. Founded in 2017, the company has positioned its headquarters in Mersin Free Zone and successfully carries out the sales and export of products such as nuts, dried fruits, spices and confectionery.
The companies’ main aim to establish strong communication and long-term partnerships with customers. The priority is to provide the customers with the freshest, most natural and highest quality products. Customer satisfaction and trust are the core values of their business.
Mr. Ubaidulloev introduced Mr. Ahmet with company products and gave him the company leaflet, sample of his products and changed with their business cards.

Further the representative of Toboni Isfara LLC Ubaidulloev Dodokhon and LLC Ecofruit Isfara Director Abduvaliev Dilshod held a B2B meeting with Director of SAHMO nuts company Mr. Ridvan Ozel. Since 2013, the company has been specializing in the supply of nuts, dried fruits, spices, pulses and seeds on a global scale and has been meeting the needs of the food industry. Sahmo Nuts is the name of freshness and taste in wholesale nuts. Sahmo Nuts has many types of nuts in its portfolio, including Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Pistachios, Cashews, Almonds and dried apricots and raisins. Considering these characteristics, Turkey is the largest producer of the dried apricot in the world. Representatives of our companies introduced Mr. Ahmet with company products and with Association and members, Fruitajik brand. Mr. Ozel was very interested in our products, especially in dried apricots and apricot kernel as he said he did not know Tajikistan as a country of Dried Apricot producer. He knew Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, albeit on a small scale, but Tajikistan he heard first time. As our companies brought samples of their products to the exhibition, they offered it to Mr. Ozel to taste and see the quality. Sides agreed to continue the communication through email, WhatsApp and hope for the future cooperation.
